About the Games

The Southern Africa Telecommunication Games (SATeG) is an annual multi-sport event bringing together employees of telecommunications companies across Southern Africa. Established in 1987, the Games celebrate sporting excellence, camaraderie, and the spirit of the telecommunications industry across the region.

SATeG 2026 is proudly hosted in Swakopmund, Namibia, welcoming athletes and officials from five nations competing across 13 sports codes — from football, netball and volleyball to chess, darts and athletics.
